FBLA: Future Business Leaders of America

This club competes against other high schools in business activities and participate in the Wharton School of Business Investment Challenge   

HOSA: Future Health Professionals

HOSA is the career and technical student organization (CTSO) for students:

  • Who are, or have been, enrolled in the MHS healthcare science program
  • Who are interested in, or are planning to pursue, a career in the health profession (You do not have to be in the healthcare pathway in order to join.)

The mission of HOSA is to empower its members “to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.” Students gain experience through chapter activities (guest speakers, homecoming parade, community service activities, etc.) and the HOSA Competitive Events Program (Fall and State Leadership Conferences). These events are held at regional, state, and national levels. Additionally, students can take on leadership roles as officers at the local, state, or national level.

"SkillsUSA is a national organization whose mission is to help students become skilled professionals, responsible citizens, and career-ready leaders. Students represent a variety of talents and skills and participate in leadership, competitive, and community events. Students share their skills and talents with each other and members of the school and the community. SkillsUSA has chapters in every state and over 400, 000 members nationwide."
